Who is Progressive Investment Company
Progressive Investment Company (PIC) is a locally owned real estate developing & leasing company with more than 25 years of experience in southern Indiana. Many might see operating within smaller market as a struggle, we see it as a great opportunity. Developing, and often owning/managing a wide variety of projects is what fuels our fire and has led to our ability to grow every year. Everything we do is driven by what our customers want. Retail, manufacturing facilities, warehouse/distribution, commercial office buildings, and short-term storage are each important to us.
Our staff of development professionals will work diligently with you to provide expertise in locating and developing new property or retrofitting an existing property to meet your needs. We can manage the entire process or the piece(s) you need help with the most. Our capabilities include site selection, site development, and turnkey design/build construction services. We offer our customers the option of either leasing or owning the finished project.

DEBBIE BAYS OFFICE MANAGER
Debbie has been with the company for over twenty years and has been a big part of its success. Her experience and responsibilities continue to grow. She works closely with tenants in administering leases and providing the much of the support services that are critically important. She also works with the dozens of service providers and vendors who support the operations. Her positive attitude, kind spirit, and attention to detail are second to none, and it seems everyone enjoys having the opportunity to work with her.
BRIAN TRETTER OWNER
Brian leads the company’s strategic planning and is focused on procuring development and investment opportunities as well as managing the leasing and property management functions of the company. He also oversees the strategic growth and day-to-day operation of Access Storage, which has thirteen retail self-storage locations in southern Indiana. Since becoming a partner in the company in 1996, his approach has been to provide a personal, practical, and fiscally responsible solution to each client's real estate needs.
Brian holds a BS in Business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He is actively involved in the community by serving on various Boards and Committees including the Dubois County Community Foundation, VU Jasper Campus Foundation, and the Ferdinand Community Endowment. He and his wife, Jill, are active members of Redemption Christian Church and spend much of their free time with their three sons, Evan, Tyler, and Conner.
