Automotive Supplier to Partner with Progressive Investment

Curtis-Maruyasu America, Inc.(CMA), an international supplier of automotive components, will begin production this fall at their new location in Santa Claus, IN. Progressive Investment recently acquired the 42,000 S.F. shell building located in the Santa Claus Industrial Park and has already began the process of completing the necessary build-out. In less than 60 days, Progressive plans to complete construction on the project, which includes placing all floor slabs, restroom facilities, dock doors, truck maneuvering and parking areas, heating system, electrical system, sprinkler system, and all air/electric services needed to operate the production equipment. In addition to partnering with CMA on the lease of this facility, Progressive Investment controls the adjoining acreage that could be used for future expansions at the Santa Claus location. According to Tom Utter, Executive Director of Lincolnland Economic Development, “They (PIC) were a big key for the Santa Claus site being selected. We appreciate the intense efforts of PIC and their financial commitment to our community”.
